Post-Doc, Physics Department "E.R. Caianiello"

About

I am a post doctoral researcher in Physics, at the Physics Department “E.R.Caianiello” and Engineering Faculty of the University of Salerno, Italy.
In 2004 I got the Master degree in Physics with 110/110 marks in University of Salerno. Since 2004 I spent many periods of research at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), in Geneva (Switzerland), in the ALICE experiment project. From 2006 to 2007 I spent an official foreign period at CERN of one year, funded by University of Salerno.
In February 2008, I got the PhD in particle Physics, with a thesis entitled “The Time Of Flight system for ‘A Large Ion Collider Experiment’ (ALICE) at CERN: a high performance detector for particle identification”.
After the PhD, I took a post doc position at the Physics Department of the University of Salerno.
In the last part of the PhD course, I started new research interests, focused on the application of the modern Physics methods to engineering (mainly Acoustics) and bio-mathematical problems.
I published more than 50 papers on international journals and conference proceedings with referees.
I was appointed main researcher of WSEAS international research group on "Modelling and Simulation".
