Conrad Brunstrom Saw the History Channel's documentary on Bedlam last night... costumes all over the place as per usual. Ned Ward (c.1700) becomes an aristocrat c.1760. Early nineteenth century characters are costumed like early eighteenth century folk. I think documentary makers regard the long eighteenth century as one undifferentiated "period". A bit like undergraduates?
